Becoming Framed Silk Scarf

From the artist: This piece was conceived as the Goddess of Air, part of my elemental series. Since I have gotten sober, I renamed it "Becoming", embracing the transformation achieved by focusing on the breath. .If you look very closely, you can see elements of one of Pittsburgh bridges, as well as astrological symbols. She transcends, as Air tends to do. I created tension with symmetrical and asymmetrical elements, and the complimentary color scheme. She is yearning, ever moving as air needs to be.This framed silk brings a dreamy, vintage aura into a modern space. Soft plum, smoke and amber tones wrap a serenely poised woman in artful cloudscapes, balancing nostalgia with contemporary print clarity. The slim black frame and subtle texture of the silk create a museum-like presence that anchors a gallery wall or becomes a quiet focal point above a dresser or reading nook. It invites slow moments — a cup of tea, a paused record, a thought that lingers — and complements interiors that favor layered patterns, cozy textiles, and curated antiques.
