From the artist: During the spring I take hundreds of pictures of blossoming trees and bushes. I believe I took this one at the Frick Mansion, a museum which preserves the home of a wealthy Victorian Pittsburgh industrialist. This framed matte canvas brings a dreamy, vintage aura into a modern space. The slim black frame and subtle texture of the coated canvas create a museum-like presence that anchors a gallery wall or becomes a quiet focal point above a dresser or reading nook.
